(Yicai Global) Jan. 22 -- Chinese communications equipment developer Kingsignal Technology has won the bidding for Ericsson's 2019 VPA Global China tender, adding to the 2019 VPA Global overseas contract it landed in December.

Kingsignal will provide Stockholm-based Ericsson with communication base station support products, the Shenzhen-based company said in a statement yesterday. It gave no specific details beyond saying the number of product codes account for about 62.4 percent of Ericsson's total for tenders in China.

The company's successful bids show the competitiveness and industry status of its products and will help enhance Kingsignal's brand and industry influence and open up the international market, the statement added.
