(Yicai Global) June 25 -- The opening ceremony of the China-Japan Exchange Traded Funds Connect took place at the Shanghai Stock Exchange this morning, indicating the formal start of the new program.

China and Japan signed the ETF Connect Agreement on April 22, allowing fund firms in both countries to set up cross-border products and invest in ETFs in each other's market.
