(Yicai Global) July 25 -- China has built a network of 1 million charging piles for new energy vehicles as of the end of June, the largest number in the world, the National Energy Administration said in a press conference today.

China has also used its renewables more efficiently. Wasted energy in China's wind power farms fell 4 percentage points from the previous year to 4.7 percent in the first half. That for solar power plants decreased by 1.2 percentage points to 2.4 percent.
