China’s Han’s Laser Has Won USD157 Million of Orders From CATL, Its Units Since January(Yicai Global) June 2 -- Han’s Laser Technology Industry Group has won bids to supply lithium battery production equipment worth CNY1 billion (USD157 million) to Contemporary Amperex Technology and its subsidiaries since the start of this year.
The orders will help Han’s Laser expand in the electric vehicle battery field and boost its operating results, the Guangdong province-based laser devices maker said in a statement today.
They have entered into formal order contracts for CNY922 million (USD144.4 million) of equipment in the bids so far.
Han’s Laser’s business with CATL and its units was worth CNY1.1 billion in 2019, accounting for 11.5 percent of its annual revenue, versus CNY156 million and 1.3 percent last year.
Shares in Han's Laser [SHE: 002008] closed up 0.3 percent today at CNY37.35 (USD5.85) each.
