(Yicai Global) Jan. 23 -- China Haisum Engineering said it has won a USD107.5 million contract to build and equip Marubeni's paper mill in Vietnam, helping further expand the Chinese company's overseas market and boost its earnings.
Haisum Engineering will build the Japanese trading company's pulp equipment and paper production line in Ba Ria-Vung Tau in the southeast of Vietnam, the Shanghai-based contractor said in a statement today. Construction is expected to take 600 days. It gave no further details.
The company's shares [SHE:002116] gained 1.6 percent today to close at CNY8.76 (USD1.29) each, while the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index was little changed.
