(Yicai Global) Oct. 12 -- China's per capita gross national income (GNI) reached USD8,260 last year, to rank the country 93 among the 216 countries and regions in the list of GNI per capita released by the World Bank, Xinhua News Agency reported, citing figures from China's National Bureau of Statistics (NBS).
China's Gross Domestic Product (GDP) was USD11.2 trillion, which ranked second in the world in 2016, and made up 14.8 percent of world economic aggregate, statistics show. From 2013 to 2016, China's average contribution rate to world economic growth was about 30 percent; this exceeded the sum of that of the US, Eurozone and Japan to rank first in the world.
