(Yicai Global) Oct. 30 -- The Export-Import Bank of China will issue CNY300 billion (USD42.5 billion) worth of special purpose loans next year to boost imports, as well as offer financial support for foreign firms at this year's China International Import Expo.
EximBank will support Chinese companies to bring in high-end and smart manufacturing equipment, as well as energy resources, and promote cross-border settlement in Chinese yuan, CCTV reported today, citing Ning Yong, vice president of the Beijing-based lender.
Eximbank will also launch a special purpose financing program for the second CIIE, held in Shanghai from Nov. 5 to Nov. 10, to meet overseas firms' different funding needs, Ning said, adding that the bank will set up a service area at the event to counsel clients.
