(Yicai Global) March 23 -- The EUHT developed by Beijing-based Nufront Inc. recently debuted at the 2018 World Summit on Information Society (WSIS) held in Geneva, Switzerland, where it drew widespread attention.

This new technology is called Enhanced ultra High-Throughput Wireless Communication System (EUHT), and the system has achieved the requirements of high reliability and low latency for next-wave 5G communications technology in industrial applications, state Xinhua News Agency quoted Nufront's vice president Lei Jun as saying at the forum.

Nufront also demonstrated its first commercial ultra-broadband vehicle-to-ground wireless communication solution using the EUHT system at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) held in Barcelona, Spain in February, and has penned memoranda of understanding with the railway agencies of South Korea and Germany. Nufront's official website shows that the technology has gone into commercial use on the Beijing-Tianjin High Speed Railway and Guangzhou Subway Line 6.

Held from March 19 to 23, this year's WSIS was hosted by the International Telecommunication Union. More than 2,500 ICT experts across the world convened in Geneva to discuss the application of ICT in sustainable development.
