(Yicai Global) July 16 -- China's nominal personal disposable income grew 2.4 percent to CNY15,666 (USD2,238.48) in the first half, but the inflation-adjusted rate was down 1.3 percent, the country’s National Bureau of Statistics announced today.
Average disposable income for city dwellers was CNY21,655, up 1.5 percent on the year, but a 2.0 percent drop after inflation, while that of rural residents was CNY8,069 in a 3.7 percent rise, but down an inflation-adjusted 1 percent.
