China's Cyber Security Sector to Be Worth USD8.9 Billion This Year, Expert Says(Yicai Global) Sept. 18 -- China's internet security sector will reach a value of CNY63.1 billion (USD8.9 billion) this year, Wang Zhiqin, deputy dean of the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology, said today.
The figure is 23.5 percent higher than last year's CNY51.1 billion, he added, which was in turn up 19.2 percent from 2017.
