(Yicai Global) Jan. 18 -- China's total retail sales of consumer goods climbed 4.6 percent per year last month to a less-than-projected CNY4.06 trillion (USD626 billion), per data the National Bureau of Statistics released today.
This growth fell short of the 5.77 percent rise expected by chief economists Yicai Global surveyed.
