(Yicai Global) Oct. 17 -- China's senior citizens should be more careful when choosing elderly care institutions and be less gullible in the face of false advertising to avoid being deceived, according to the China Consumer Association.

The organization received 198,775 complaints in the third quarter with many company from elderly citizens, it said in a report published yesterday. Some 72 percent, or 143,118, of the complaints were resolved.
