(Yicai Global) July 24 -- China National Complete Plant Import Export, better known as Complant, has won a USD198 million contract to construct a property project called Goldensprings Complex in Kenya's capital Nairobi.

Complant penned an engineering, procurement and construction contract with Jichusheshi Kaifashang, a project firm set up by Kenyan property developer Rovin, the Beijing-based company said in a statement yesterday.

The undertaking, which involves an area of over 1,900 hectares of land designed for office buildings, apartments and hotels, is expected to break ground this year and be finished in a bit more than three years.

Last December, Complant won an EPC bid nearby Nairobi in Machakos to build a 25,500 square meter project involving a hospital and apartment buildings for USD47.7 million.
