(Yicai Global) Sept. 5 -- China will allow imports of Russian sugar beet pulp, soybean meal, rapeseed meal and sunflower meal, the country's Customs announced today.

China extended the China-bound Russian-produced soy import zone to span the entire border length and to include seaborne transit, the General Administration of Customs announced July 25.

China hopes it can fully unlock the potential of Russian soybean cooperation, continue to promote an industrial chain, and foster a stable long-term market-based cooperative environment, Gao Feng, spokesman for China's Ministry of Commerce, said at an Aug. 2 press briefing.

Sugar beet pulp is used as livestock fodder.
