China's A-Share Market Fell Sharply This Morning as SCI Edged Close to 2,600 Mark

(Yicai Global) Nov. 23 - China's A-shares tumbled sharply in trading this morning, with the Shanghai Composite Index falling close to the 2,600-mark.

The SCI fell 1.63 percent to 2,602.30 points this morning with CNY86.3 billion (USD12.5 billion) exchanged while the Shenzhen Component Index closed down 2.33 percent at 7,709.94 points, turning over CNY102.4 billion. The ChiNext Price Index fell 2.3 percent to 1,322.74 points with turnover of CNY36.1 billion.
