(Yicai Global) Dec. 29 -- China's mainland stock markets flipped downward following a jumbled opening this morning. Securities firms' shares rose over 1.5 percent to take the forefront among the gainers.
The Shanghai Composite Index set out 0.06 percent higher at 3,399.29. The Shenzhen Component Index opened at 14,042.79, edging down 0.01 percent, and the ChiNext Price Index, which tracks growth enterprises listed in Shenzhen, dipped 0.14 percent to 2,838.71 at the gate.
