(Yicai Global) May 31 -- Guangdong Bobaolon has partnered with a sports services affiliate of e-commerce behemoth Alibaba Group Holding and Xinhuanet owned by state-run Xinhua News Agency to build a big data system for intelligent design, production and sales management of pan-fashion sports products.

Bobaolon signed a cooperation agreement with Xinhuanet and Alibaba Sports, better known as Alisports, yesterday, the Puning-based fashion wear manufacturer said in a statement, which gave no further details about the financial scope of the deal.

The intelligent management system will apply mobile internet, Internet of Things, big data, cloud computing and other technologies to form an information service and product innovation platform for the pan-fashion sports industry and provide services for the industry chain.

The partnership will help listed companies use industrial big data to design innovative products to meet the personalized needs of users, the statement added.
