(Yicai Global) April 15 -- Workers began laying tracks for the Beijing-Xiongan intercity railway today. 

The Beijing-Xiongan intercity railway is an important rail  transit line connecting Beijing with the Daxing International Airport  and Xiongan New District.

The Beijing-Xiongan intercity railway's Beijing section is  expected to start trial operations in July and operate simultaneously  with Beijing Daxing International Airport in September, according to the  construction plan.

It will take only 20 minutes for passengers to get from Beijing  West Railway Station to Daxing International Airport by the high-speed  train.
