(Yicai Global) July 26 -- Beijing will encourage foreign financial institutions to participate in a pilot that seeks to open up the financial services sector, Shanghai Securities News reported, citing Huo Xuewen, head of the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Financial Work.

The program aims to spur more business for qualified domestic limited partners and international yuan-denominated investment funds while facilitating their foreign exchange management.
