(Yicai Global) Dec. 11 -- Beijing Benz Automotive, a joint venture between Germany's Daimler and China's BAIC Motor, has completed its new assembly line in the capital city, Beijing Daily reported today.
The factory, which is expected to start production soon, is estimated to make CNY10 billion (USD1.4 billion) worth of new energy vehicles and parts next year. The plant could produce Mercedes-Benz EQC and GLB sport utility vehicles.
