(Yicai Global) June 12 -- Famous experts and entrepreneurs including Chinese respiratory disease specialist Dr. Zhong Nanshan, epidemiologist Li Lanjuan, Xiaomi founder Lei Jun and Gree's head Dong Mingzhu are set to join tech firm Baidu for live streaming, as news portal Tech.ifeng reported today, citing an internal list from Baidu. 

Robin Li, Baidu's chief executive, debuted live streaming on the company's app on May 15 to build the firm into a star live streaming platform, driving its market capitalization up by CNY12 billion (USD1.7 billion) that day.
