(Yicai Global) Dec. 12 -- Chinese search engine behemoth Baidu was fined CNY30,000 (USD4,269) by Beijing's industry and commerce watchdog on Dec. 3.

Baidu, as the operator and publisher, failed to check the content of the advertisements, according to information posted today to corporate information platform Tianyancha, which provided no other specifics.
