(Yicai Global) May 15 -- B-Soft Co. will partner with three West China hospitals to jointly set up an information platform and data center to develop and use big data in healthcare.
B-Soft has signed cooperative framework agreements with the Affiliated Hospital of Qinghai University, the First People's Hospital of Baiyin and the Second People's Hospital of Lanzhou, the company said in a statement yesterday. Specific content and investment details will be available once a contract is signed, it added.
The Hangzhou-based company will provide consulting services to establish the hospitals' healthcare information data collection and exchange platform, as well as design, develop implement, operate and maintain big data business applications, it said.
The platform's setup and operation will provide government healthcare departments with real-time, accurate and comprehensive information while improving the efficiency of management and intelligent decision-making. It will also benefit patients by enabling them to identify health risks, B-Soft said.
