(Yicai Global) March 19 -- Qingan Group Co. plans to partner France-based Nexeya and its German subsidiary as the trio look to expand the Chinese and international civil aviation markets by jointly developing airborne electromechanical systems.

Qingan, a unit under AVIC Electromechanical Systems Co., has penned a memorandum of understanding to work with Nexeya and TechSAT GmBH, the Chinese parent company said in a statement without disclosing how much each firm would contribute to the project.

Nexeya is a global leader in the integration, verification and testing of complex electronic systems and owns all of TechSAT, which focuses on developing and servicing aviation systems and products. TechSAT's products are used in almost all large aircrafts, including those made by Airbus SE, The Boeing Co. and the Commercial Aircraft Corp. of China, better known as COMAC.

The collaboration will help AVIC better design complex systems, form a research and development system for civil aviation aircraft and enhance the efficiency of technology R&D for aviation products, the firm added.

The threesome will research flight control, actuation, cabin door and slide systems, the statement said. They will also look to create safety-critical systems and develop simulation technologies and maintenance tests.
