(Yicai Global) April 10 -- AutoX has launched Asia's largest RoboTaxi Operations Center in Shanghai to serve as a data hub for self-driving cars in China, the Shenzhen-based autonomous driving developer said today.
The facility spans 80,000 square feet houses tools to store petabytes of data from self-driving cars every week, the firm said, adding that it can also create complex simulation scenarios to test vehicles.
Shanghai residents will soon be able to hail a ride from AutoX's RoboTaxi using a mobile app, according to the statement.
