(Yicai Global) Dec. 29 -- The annual turnover of China's technology giant Huawei Technologies Co. is expected to reach CNY600 billion (USD92 billion) this year, an increase of 15 percent year-on-year. The total share of the Huawei smartphones, including Glory series, in the annual turnover exceeded 10 percent with the shipment of 153 million units this year, placing it among the top three smartphone makers in the world and securing its leading position in the Chinese market.

Some 197 companies of the Fortune Global 500 and 45 of the Fortune Global 100 have chosen Huawei as their partners during their digital transition, revealed Hu Houkun, deputy chairman of Huawei board and rotating CEO, during its company New Year speech today.

As for the technology giant's newly-established Cloud business, Huawei has expanded its service scope to 14 categories with 97 sub-categories this year from 10 categories and 45 sub-categories at the end of last year, while providing over 50 solutions to customers, he said.

The public Cloud partnership plan of the firm has attracted over 1,000 partners. Although Huawei's operator business has been affected by periodic fluctuations in market investment, it still has maintained a sound operation, Hu added.

Huawei's three major businesses are operator business, corporate one and consumer business. Earlier this year, the Cloud business has added a fourth one as it started operating independently as the fourth major business of the company.
