(Yicai Global) March 24 -- All travelers entering Beijing from other countries, regardless of their final destinations, will be collectively isolated and observed, and undergo Covid-19 nucleic acid tests, a city official announced today. Only those whose destination was the Chinese capital itself up to now needed quarantined observation.

All those coming to Beijing from other ports of entry within the last 14 days will be collectively isolated and observed, and must also submit to coronavirus tests, the city simultaneously announced.

Isolated observation is at entrants' own expense, while apportioning nucleic acid testing charges will depend on whether individuals have domestic medical insurance or not.
