(Yicai Global) July 5 -- Ant Financial Services Group's third-party payment platform Alipay will provide CNY1 billion (USD145.4 million) to help develop women's soccer prowess in China in the next 10 years. 

Alipay will donate the money to soccer educators and teams without commercial interest in order to widen girls' and women's access to the sport, the Hangzhou-based firm said in a statement today. 

Alipay will use 3 percent of its revenue for public welfare each year, Alibaba Group Holding, Ant Financial's affiliate, said earlier.
