(Yicai Global) June 10 -- Ant Financial Services Group's mobile wallet Alipay has released an overseas mini-program with which Chinese users can hail cabs in 33 cities in 10 countries, including the UK, US, Australia and Thailand. 

Alipay anticipates to partner with more taxi firms and to expand the mini-program to cover more than 100 cities in 20 countries within this year, the Hangzhou-based parent said in a statement today. The firm has already teamed up with Singapore's Grab and Israel's Gett and added the United Arab Emirates, Singapore, and Malaysia onto its list of nations.

Chinese tourists may face language barriers, boosted fares and trouble finding cash when traveling, so the one-stop application will ease their journeys while providing efficient security features and 24/7 online customer service in Chinese, it added.
