Akcome Subsidiary Sinks USD72 Million Into Shandong PV Power Station

(Yicai Global) Dec. 14 -- Photovoltaic (PV) power investor and operator Jiangsu Akcome Science and Technology Co. [SZ:002610] has won the contract for the second phase of the 60 MW power plant project in Wudi, in China's east-central Shandong province. Total investment is projected at CNY498 million (USD72 million).

The company said yesterday that a wholly-owned subsidiary of Suzhou Zhongkang Electric Power Development Co. -- which Akcome controls -- will take charge of power plant construction.

Once complete, the plant will generate approximately 75.13 million kw/h of electricity a year, for annual income of around CNY74 million.
