(Yicai Global) Nov. 21 -- Shares on China's stock markets closed slightly up today despite a tough start on the back of losses in overseas markets.
The Shanghai Composite Index rose 0.21 percent to 2,651.51 points this afternoon with CNY149.4 billion (USD24.1 billion) exchanged while the Shenzhen Component Index closed up 0.37 percent at 7,908.47 points, turning over CNY197.8 billion. The ChiNext Price Index rose 0.57 percent to 1,363.03 points with turnover of CNY58.3 billion.
