(Yicai Global) Dec. 11 -- China's stock markets closed up slightly today though turnover on the Shanghai bourse hit its lowest level since July 2014.
The Shanghai Composite Index closed at 2,594.09 points, up 0.37 percent, with a turnover of CNY85.4 billion (USD12.4 billion). The Shenzhen Composite Index rose 0.79 percent to 7,685.40 points with CNY133 billion exchanged.
The ChiNext Price Index closed at 1,338.08 points, up 0.85 percent with CNY41.2 billion exchanged.
