(Yicai Global) June 10 -- Fifth-generation wireless-enabled smartphones accounted for 46.3 percent of all handsets shipped in China last month, according to new data.

Almost 33.76 million mobile phones were shipped last month, data released today by the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology showed.

Just over 46.08 million 5G phones in 81 models were shipped between January and last month, and 121 million smartphones were delivered, a 16 percent drop from a year earlier, the figures showed.
