(Yicai Global) June 19 -- Chinese energy conglomerate China Energy Engineering Corp. is linking arms with Saudi Arabian investment firm Aljomaih Holding on renewable energy projects in the Middle East and around the world.
CEEC and Aljomaih will tap into the Middle Eastern and even global markets to realize investment and construction breakthroughs in fields such as solar, green hydrogen, energy storage, gas power stations, seawater desalination and sewage treatment, Beijing-based CEEC said yesterday, citing Chairman Song Hailiang at the signing ceremony held on June 16.
Aljomaih and CEEC have already partnered partnerships on PV and other projects in Saudi Arabia and have established a high-level mutual trust, said Shaikh Ibrahim Aljomaih, vice chairman of the Riyadh-based company which boasts tie-ups with some of the world's biggest brands, including UK oil major Shell, US car behemoth GM and US beverage giant PepsiCo.
