(Yicai Global) Feb. 9 -- Chinese pharmaceutical firm Zhongzhu Healthcare Holding Co. will partner with U.S. genome tech company BioDiscovery Inc., as it looks to enhance its genomics and bioinformatics service offering in China.

The company, based in China's central Hubei province aims to leverage the partnership in its efforts to create a comprehensive industry chain related to the treatment of tumors, it said in a statement.

The agreement will lead to the introduction of BioDiscovery's cutting-edge technologies and enhance Zhongzhu's competitiveness and influence, though specific areas of cooperation are yet to be determined.

Headquartered in El Segundo, California, BioDiscovery is a high-tech company that focuses on gene sequencing and genome data analysis, with branches in the UK and Italy and agents in China, Japan, South Korea and Israel.
