(Yicai Global) June 14 -- Yimikang Tech Group has penned a deal to supply technical services to Yunnan provincial authorities as it looks to help build an information center for the local government.
The firm, based in neighboring province Sichuan, has signed a five-year agreement with state-affiliated Yunnan Yunshangyun Informatization, it said in a statement yesterday. Yimikang will assist in operations, maintenance and management in a bid to cut operating costs, and supply information technology equipment to government companies.
The pair will also explore partnerships in other fields, such as business, human resources and capital, if their initial relationship proves a success, the statement added.
Yimikang hopes the deal will transform the firm into an integrated solutions provider in the cloud computing and big data fields, and further its presence in the public sector, it said. Yunshangyun aims to improve government data sharing to help enhance the quality of public services.
