(Yicai Global) Aug. 22 -- China's mainland stocks rebounded from intraday drops in the afternoon, as some investors used the dives to go bargain-hunting.
The Shanghai Composite Index rose 0.1 percent to close at 2,883.44. The Shenzhen Component Index gained 0.3 percent to 9,350.56. The ChiNext Price Index, which tracks growth enterprises listed in Shenzhen, moved up 0.2 percent to 1,613.46.
